Jenn Grant: Queen of the Strait: Cradled by the Waves

Jenn Grant plays the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium on Saturday 26 September, her first time on that stage since the show was moved from its original date in May. If you'd already bought tickets for the May show, they're still good for this one.

She's touring Queen of the Strait: Cradled by the Waves, which she describes as her most personal work to date — a cinematic exploration of love, loss and transformation. The lead single, 'Jim Cuddy Dress', came out in the autumn and serves as a tribute to her late mother, and it carries much of the album's weight. The rest of the set will follow that same thread, so it's a night that leans more on the personal than the polished.

The venue is the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium at the Dal Arts Centre, 6101 University Ave in Halifax. Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are C$43.23 in advance and C$48.23 on the day of the show.
