Tribute band with a horn section and string quartet playing the music of the James Bond film scores, with vocals by Rebecca Noelle and Michael Hanna Sr.
The Espionage Orchestra are playing the music of the James Bond film empire at The Bruce Guthro Theatre in Casino Nova Scotia on Saturday, March 13, 2027. They describe the show as the ultimate tribute to the Bond scores, and the set runs from Thunderball through to Skyfall, so it covers a good stretch of the franchise.
The band is built around a powerhouse horn section and an elegant string quartet layered over a driving rhythm section, with Rebecca Noelle and Michael Hanna Sr on vocals. They bill themselves as some of the finest musicians in North America, and the arrangement lets the brass and strings do the heavy lifting on the themes most people recognise from the films. With two singers sharing the vocal duties, they can handle both the big, sweeping themes and the more intimate moments that the Bond soundtracks are known for.
