Monthly improvisation workshop led by Tom Richards, open to all ages and levels, offering a judgement-free environment for communication exercises.
Tom Richards leads the next session of suddenlyLISTEN's Improv Kitchen at Radstorm on Tuesday 29 September, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. It's a monthly improvisation workshop presented by suddenlyLISTEN, and this one is open to all ages and levels, so you don't need any prior experience to join in.
Inside, Richards guides the group through simple exercises designed to challenge the way people perceive and interact with one another. The whole thing is run as a judgement-free environment, which is a good way of putting it: the point is to play around with how we listen and respond in the moment, rather than worrying about getting anything right. If you've never done improv before, that's exactly the kind of room this is meant for.
It's a regular thing, too. Improv Kitchen runs on the last Tuesday of every month, and this is the first of three sessions in the autumn 2026 programme, with the others following on 27 October and 24 November. If you're interested in sticking with it, you can come back and pick up where you left off over the next couple of months.
