Outdoor movie screenings held at the historic Queen's Marque venue in Halifax.
Queen's Marque Movie Nights are back at the Halifax Waterfront on Monday, September 21, with Mean Girls on the screen. It's part of their outdoor cinema series, so you'll be watching it right by the water rather than inside a theatre.
If you're not familiar with the movie, it's the 2004 comedy about a home-schooled teenager from Africa who moves to a suburban high school in Illinois and finds herself navigating the social hierarchy of the popular crowd. It's a well-known one, so it's the kind of thing that works well in an outdoor setting where you can watch it with a crowd.
The screening runs from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm, so it's an evening thing that wraps up before it gets too late. Since it's outside on the waterfront, it's worth keeping the weather in mind when you're planning your night—bring a jacket or a blanket if the breeze picks up.
