Outdoor Latin Dance Night

Salsa on the Waterfront is back on the Halifax waterfront this Friday, September 4, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It's an outdoor Latin dance night held at Salt Yard Social, 1603 Saltyard Wy, Halifax, NS B3J 1S2.

The evening starts with a free, beginner-friendly salsa lesson, so you can pick up the basics before the social dancing takes over. After that, the floor opens up for social dancing with the harbour as your backdrop. You don't need a partner to join in, and you don't need any prior experience either — the lesson at the start is there to get you moving if you've never danced salsa before. The night is built to bring together locals, visitors and the Latin dance community, so it works whether you're a regular on the dance floor or just coming along for the first time.
