A regional fashion showcase featuring runway shows, networking events and market experiences, highlighting sustainable design and local East Coast talent.
Halifax Fashion Week returns to the city from August 8 to August 15, 2026, with events spread across various venues throughout Halifax. This year's edition is produced by Soli Productions, the company that has built the showcase into one of the East Coast's larger industry events. It's also a bit of a milestone: 2026 marks the fifth anniversary of the event.
The theme for this edition is 'ROOTED', and it runs through the whole week. It's built around cultural heritage, sustainable design and local East Coast talent, so the focus stays on what's being made right here on the coast. The programme mixes runway showcases with networking events and thematic runway concepts that cover ready-to-wear, couture and streetwear, alongside public market experiences. If you're more into the making than the watching, the market side lets you get a closer look at the work.
Soli Productions frames fashion as a human-centred craft built on sustainability, creativity and community values, and they've stated a commitment to diversity and inclusive representation. That's the through-line for the whole week, from the runway to the networking.

Because it's spread across multiple venues rather than held in one spot, you'll find different parts of the programme popping up in different corners of the city. It runs from August 8 to August 15, 2026.
