Duane Regretzky brings his CLAWS Tour to Gus' Pub & Grill on Thursday, September 10, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. He's the sole bill on the night, so it's just him on stage.
Regretzky is a road scholar from Kenora, Ontario, by way of Kamloops, British Columbia, and he's spent the last couple of years on the move. His music sits at the intersection of furious punk rock and thoughtful songwriting — a frenzied blend that's drawn comparisons to the punk ethos of Let's Go, the band of which he's guitarist and founding member. He launched his solo career in late 2024 and has since toured across Western Canada, sharing stages with acts like The Corps, DOA and Trashed Ambulance.
Beyond the music, there's a bit of a sports history to him that doesn't quite fit the punk mould: he once scored 50 goals in 39 games. It's a strange detail to carry into a gig, but it's part of the story he brings with him.
