Five-course Lebanese dining experience paired with wines from Château Ksara, with a visit from Mr. Elie Maamari.
Au Liban is hosting Cedars & Cellars Culinary & Wine Journey on Thursday, October 22, starting at 7:00 pm. It's a five-course Lebanese dinner paired with wines from Château Ksara, Lebanon's oldest winery, which dates back to 1857. The evening is built around that pairing: five courses of Lebanese cuisine, each matched with a bottle from the estate.
The night has a guest of honour coming in from Lebanon. Mr. Elie Maamari is travelling from the winery to share the story, tradition and character behind the estate's wines, so you'll get the history of the place straight from someone who knows it. Between the courses, he'll be talking through the wines and the heritage that goes with them.
