Adventure Club plays the Marquee Ballroom in Halifax with support from Pineo & Loeb, presented by True Rhythm.
Adventure Club are playing the Marquee Ballroom on Friday 15 January, with support from Pineo & Loeb. The night is presented by True Rhythm, and it's a proper club bill rather than a single act, so you'll have the opening set to warm up before the headliners take over.
If you're not familiar with the names, Adventure Club are a Canadian duo known for their melodic dubstep and bass music, and they've spent the better part of a decade touring the festival circuit. Pineo & Loeb bring a similar energy to the table, so the whole night stays in that bass-heavy territory from start to finish. It's the kind of line-up that works best when you're there with a group, rather than on your own.
The venue is the Marquee Ballroom, located at 2037 Gottingen Street in the North End. It's a spot that's seen its fair share of dance nights, and having both acts on the same bill means you'll get a full evening of music rather than just a late-night slot. If you're coming from outside the city, it's easy enough to get to, and there's plenty of the usual North End spots nearby for a drink before or after.
