Glasgow's biggest nineties and noughties daytime party hosted by Cassi from Clyde 1, featuring music, food and jam jar drinks.
Xmas Jam Pot kicks off at Barras Art and Design Centre on Saturday 5 December, from 4pm to 10pm. It's a daytime party hosted by Cassi from Clyde 1, and this is the first of three Christmas editions running across the month, with further dates on 12 and 13 December. The whole thing is built around the nineties and noughties, and Cassi describes it as Glasgow's biggest day party from that era.
The plan is to take you back to the days of Smash Hits, cheesy TV ads and MTV. The music will be a mix of cheesy classics and Christmas bangers, with music videos playing alongside. There's also food that Cassi says people miss, and jam jar drinks, all themed around partying like it's 1999. It's a daytime affair, so you're in and out while it's still light, which makes it a decent shout if you've got things to do later on.
This is the first time the party has come to BAaD in the Barras, and since it's one of three dates, you've got a few chances to catch it. If the first one doesn't suit, there are two more on 12 and 13 December, so you can pick the weekend that works best for you.
