UK doom metal pioneers Warning headline with special guests Semantron at Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox.
Warning headline Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox on Monday 7 December, with special guests Semantron. It's a return to the name for frontman Patrick Walker, who spent years working under 40 Watt Sun before stepping back into this one.
If you're coming from the older records, the one that usually sticks is Watching from a Distance, the 2006 album that built a cult following over the years. Walker played it live in 2017, and that set put him back to writing new material. The songs that followed became Rituals of Shame, written over three months in early January 2025, recorded at The Arch Studio in Southport with Chris Fullard โ who has worked with Idles, Sunn O))) and Ulver โ and released via Relapse.

Walker lists Marillion, June Tabor and John Brenner as inspirations, and the cover art is by Tekla Vรกly, who also did the art for Watching from a Distance: Live at Roadburn. The show is promoted by Old Empire and Wild Card Promotions. The venue is Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox, 17 Bain Street, Glasgow G40 2JZ.
