Uncle Baji's Pub Quiz is back at Taphouse Bar & Kitchen on Tuesday 20 October, and it's one of the harder ones you'll find in Glasgow. The organisers describe it as one of the toughest pub quizzes the city has to offer, so if you're used to the easy wins, you might want to bring a few extra brains with you.
It's a weekly thing, running every Tuesday night at 8pm. The 20th is just one of the dates in the calendar—it's been on since the start of October, with the 6th, 13th and 27th around it, and it keeps going every Tuesday through to the end of December. If you miss this one, there's another the following week, and another after that, so you can always come back for a second attempt if the first one leaves you wanting more.
Each night draws the finest minds from within a three-mile radius to the Taphouse to battle it out and be crowned winner. The prizes are what keep people coming back: cash for the top spot, free beer, and cheap pizza on offer alongside the banter. It's as much about the atmosphere as it is about the answers, with the banter being a big part of the night.
