Grammy Award-winning South African pop star Tyla performs live at the O2 Academy Glasgow on her The A*POP World Tour, with support from Royal MusiQ.
Tyla plays the O2 Academy Glasgow on Sunday 18 October, one of three UK dates on her largest global headline tour to date. The South African pop star first made a name for herself with the 2023 smash 'Water', which earned her the Grammy for Best African Music Performance and made history on the global music charts. She's as much known for her dance choreography as for her vocals, so this is a show that works as much for the eyes as for the ears.
Her self-titled debut album blended Amapiano, Afrobeats, R&B and pop, and she's following it up with the project APOP*, which features collaborations with artists like Zara Larsson. That record brings the hits 'CHANEL', 'IS IT', 'SHE DID IT AGAIN' and 'IS IT LOVE', and the set will draw from both the debut and the new material. Royal MusiQ opens the night.
