A concert bringing to life the timeless score of the video game The Witcher with cutting-edge visuals, arranged under the supervision of Marcin PrzybyĆowicz.
The Witcher in Concert comes to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Monday 26 October, a live performance of the score from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It's a concert that marks ten years since the open-world RPG first arrived in 2015, and it brings the game's music to the stage with cutting-edge visuals to go along with it.
The arrangements are supervised by Marcin PrzybyĆowicz, one of the game's co-composers, and performed by a 14-piece ensemble. Among them is the band Percival Schuttenbach, who co-composed the original soundtrack, so they're returning to the music they helped create. The score itself is part of a series that's sold more than 75 million copies worldwide and picked up over 1,000 awards; The Witcher 3 alone took home 250 Game of the Year titles. The game was developed by CD PROJEKT RED in the dark-fantasy universe of Andrzej Sapkowski's books, and a next-gen update followed in 2022. The series continues with The Witcher IV, announced as the next saga and focusing on Ciri.
