A queer cabaret night with live sets, burlesque, side-show and magic, devilish cocktails and soulful music presented by Showboy Tom Harlow.
The Sunday Late Show is the resident Sunday night at The Riding Room, 58 Virginia Street in the city centre. It's presented by resident Showboy Tom Harlow and is pitched as a way to round off the week: dazzling performances, witty banter, devilish cocktails and an intimate atmosphere where the music is soulful and the company unforgettable.
The Riding Room is also known as 'Joint on the Corner', a queer cabaret bar run by the duo Mel and Dean. They describe it as Scotland's favourite queer cabaret bar and 'the scene's most iconic stage', and it's a busy spot with on-stage activity seven nights a week, mixing live sets, burlesque, side-show and magic. The drinks are a feature in their own right: unusual cocktails served in everything from tin cans and jam jars to silver kettles, with an absinthe 'hard liquor cabinet' to pick from.

The Sunday night is just one of those seven, and it's an ongoing thing rather than a one-off. It runs every Sunday from 9pm, with doors opening then and the show starting at 10pm. Listed dates include 11, 18 and 25 October, and 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 November 2026, so if you miss one, there's another the following week. Entry is free.
