British country duo The Shires headline the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of their first full band UK tour in four years, with special guest Kaylee Bell.
The Shires play the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday 3 November, their first full-band UK tour in four years. The duo — Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes — have been at the front of British country since their 2015 breakthrough, and this is the first time they've been back on the road with a full band since 2022.
The set draws on their new album, Bonfire, which they describe as a record about togetherness, escapism and positivity. It's a good place to start if you're coming to them now, but there's plenty of ground behind it. Their debut, Brave, made them the first British country artists to reach the UK Top Ten, and My Universe went on to become the fastest-selling UK country album of all time. They also remain the only British act to win a CMA award, the big one in the country music world.
They aren't the only ones on the bill that night; Kaylee Bell opens for them, so you'll get two acts for the price of one. The Glasgow date is part of the wider tour, which takes the full-band sound across the UK for the first time in four years, rather than just a handful of dates.
