Emmy Award-winning group The Shamrocks embark on their debut UK tour at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, bringing the rousing atmosphere of a traditional Irish pub to the concert hall.
The Shamrocks play the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 25 October, part of their debut UK tour. They're a five-piece harmony and multi-instrumental group from Northern Ireland, billed as 'one of Northern Ireland's greatest ever exports'.
The set brings the atmosphere of a traditional Irish pub into the concert hall, reimagining classics like Danny Boy, Wild Rover and Whiskey In The Jar alongside the group's own songs and compositions. It's a mix of the songs you've probably heard a hundred times and their own material, so there's a bit of both on the bill.
They've played a fair few stages before this tour, from the Sydney Opera House to the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and their videos have drawn more than 100 million views. They've performed in more than 30 countries, so this is their first time taking the show across the UK.
