A joyful festive concert bringing together some of Scotland's finest musicians for a night of soaring melodies and seasonal favourites.
The Scottish Christmas Songbook comes to The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Thursday 17 December, a festive concert that brings together several of Scotland's finest musicians for a night of seasonal favourites. It's a big bill of voices and instruments sharing the stage, with the whole evening described as bursting with celebratory energy.
The line-up is a proper gathering of Scottish talent. Eddi Reader and Karen Matheson lead on vocals, with John McCusker, Kris Drever, Ian Carr, and Kevin McGuire on the instruments. The night is rounded out by the Scottish Christmas Songbook Brass Ensemble, who add the brass section to the mix. Between them they'll be working through soaring melodies, rich harmonies and the seasonal songs you'd expect from a Christmas concert.
