The Overtones return for the festive season with their Jivin' Home for Christmas tour, blending festive classics with feel-good hits from soul, Motown, doo-wop, disco and pop.
The Overtones are back at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 22nd November, part of their Jivin' Home for Christmas tour. It's their biggest festive show to date, a 20-date run across the UK that brings them back to Glasgow for a one-night stand. The Glasgow date is a party of around two and a half hours, so it's a proper evening out rather than a quick stop.
The set blends festive classics with feel-good hits from soul, Motown, doo-wop, disco and pop, and they'll be mixing in brand new songs alongside the familiar ones. It's all delivered with their trademark vocals, synchronised moves and unmistakable charm. If you're not already familiar, they're a multi-platinum selling vocal harmony group and one of the UK's most popular and prolific live acts, with praise from HELLO Magazine, Sky News, Attitude, This Morning and the Sunday Express. This tour is their biggest Christmas offering yet, so it's a good time to catch them if you've missed them in previous years.
Beyond the Christmas tour, they also stage Jukebox Idols, a high-energy show celebrating the sounds of the 50s and 60s, so there's a bit more to their live work than just the festive stuff. If you want to keep an eye on what they're up to, they run a free Good Times Club that gives first access to tour dates, new music, competitions and VIP tickets.
