The Mary Wallopers play the OVO Hydro on Saturday 19 December, with The Coral as special guest. It's part of what the Dundalk band is calling their biggest headline tour to date, which takes in arena shows across Scotland and Ireland.
There's a fair bit of new ground to cover here. The Mary Wallopers have announced their third album, produced by The Coral's James Skelly and packed with their own songs. They've also put out a new single, so the set should draw plenty from the new record alongside the older material. The Coral, who produced the album, are on the bill as special guests, so the two bands share the same stage on the night.
The Glasgow date is a premium-tier night at the Hydro, with a mix of standing and seated tickets. There are strict age restrictions to keep in mind: standing is 14+ and seated is 18+, and anyone under 16 has to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Accessible booking is available, and tickets are limited to six per person.
