Chase & Status bring their high-octane drum and bass live show to the OVO Hydro, opening the UK leg of their 'Generic Everything' tour.
Chase & Status are playing The OVO Hydro on Thursday 18 March 2027, and it's the first date of the UK leg of their tour. After this, they'll be heading to Manchester, Birmingham and London, so Glasgow gets the opening night.
For those who don't know them, Chase & Status are Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). They met at Manchester University in the mid-nineties through a shared love of drum and bass, and they've spent more than two decades working across drum & bass, jungle, rave, soundsystem culture and UK rap. Along the way they've collaborated with Stormzy, Kano, Giggs, J Hus, Little Simz, Wretch 32 and Skrillex, and their album No More Idols went double platinum. The live show is rounded out by Andy Gangadeen on drums, and it's built on raging riffs and high-octane breakdowns. This tour is in support of their album Generic Everything.
Beyond the main stage, they also run SECTION 63, a live concept they describe as being designed to challenge the conventions of the traditional DJ show and reconnect with the energy of underground rave culture.
