Scottish indie-pop duo The Getaway headline a show at King Tut's, supported by Sidewalk.
The Getaway headline King Tut's Wah Wah Hut on Saturday 17 October, with Sidewalk supporting. It's a Glasgow show for a duo that's very much of the place: Ryan Lawrie is from the city, Jamie Adamson is from Fife, and they describe their sound as timeless Scottish melodies blended with modern pop.
There's a fair bit of songwriting history behind the two of them. Lawrie has spent a decade writing for BTS and other major artists, and Adamson has fronted Moonlight Zoo and played UK festivals alongside acts like Cammy Barnes. Together they've come home to the indie-pop they're known for, and this is one of their Glasgow dates.
