Aled Jones and Alexander Armstrong lead a live festive sing-a-long at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, featuring traditional carols and seasonal classics.
Aled Jones and Alexander Armstrong are bringing The Big Christmas Sing-A-Long to The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday 1 December, as part of the show's debut UK tour. It's a night built around singing along rather than just listening: the two of them lead the room through a mix of traditional carols, modern festive favourites and timeless seasonal classics, and you're encouraged to turn up in your favourite Christmas jumper.
Among the songs is Jones's signature Walking in the Air, the one that helped make The Snowman an annual Christmas favourite. He's had a four-decade career that's taken him from singing for the Pope and the Royal Family to an MBE, more than 40 albums with over 10 million sales, and more than 40 Silver, Gold and Platinum discs. He still presents Songs of Praise on Classic FM and BBC1.
Armstrong brings a different energy to the pairing. A comedian, actor, presenter and bass-baritone, he hosts Classic FM's flagship weekday mid-morning programme, appears regularly on Have I Got News For You and helms the BBC1 quiz show Pointless. He's also half of the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller, and he handles the hosting side of the night with the same affable, humorous touch he brings to his broadcasting.

Between the two of them, the evening pairs one of the UK's most iconic voices with a familiar face from the screen and radio, and the Glasgow date is one stop on the show's first tour of the UK. Doors open at 7:00pm, and the show starts at the same time. Tickets are £57.50, £46.30 and £35.10, which include a 12% booking fee and a £1.50 restoration fund.
