The official tribute band to the Arctic Monkeys returns to the O2 Academy Glasgow for a headline show as part of their UK tour.
The Antarctic Monkeys are back at O2 Academy Glasgow on Friday 8 January 2027, returning to the city for a headline show. It's part of a six-date UK tour, so they'll be playing across the country with Glasgow as one of the stops.
They describe themselves as 'The Official Tribute Band to the Arctic Monkeys', and they've been at it since 2006. They formed in the wake of the Arctic Monkeys' debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, which came out that same year. Since then, they've grown into the world's biggest Arctic Monkeys tribute act, playing across the UK and worldwide.
On the night, it's just them on the bill, so the whole set is dedicated to the Arctic Monkeys' songs. If you've followed the original band from the early days, you'll recognise the material they've been working with since the start.
