A winter market gathering independent creative businesses from across Scotland, featuring textiles, jewellery, ceramics and illustrations.
Tea Green are bringing their winter market to The Burrell Collection on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, a weekend showcase of independent creative businesses from across Scotland. It's a curated selection rather than a random gathering, with luxurious textiles, unique jewellery, functional ceramics and quirky illustrations making up the bulk of what's on the tables. If you're looking for something a bit more thoughtful than the usual high street, this is exactly the kind of thing that works.
The market is run by Tea Green Events, which started back in 2014 and has grown into a pop-up platform that champions Scotland's independent creative talent. They've spent the last decade putting together curated events across the country, and this one follows that same pattern: bringing together makers from different parts of Scotland under one roof for a single weekend. It's a good way to see what's being made in small studios and workshops across the country without having to travel to find them.
