German DJ and producer STVW brings his unique 'PUNK RAVE' sound to Glasgow, blending pop-punk and electronic dance music with a live band.
STVW plays SWG3 Warehouse on Wednesday 28 October, part of his Punk Rave Europe Tour. He's a German DJ and producer whose sound sits right at the intersection of pop-punk and electronic dance music, a style he calls 'PUNK RAVE'. It's exactly what it sounds like: the intensity of pop-punk and emo brought to a modern dance floor. The Glasgow date is one stop on a run that also hits Manchester, Birmingham and London.
What sets his live sets apart is how he builds them. Rather than just a DJ booth, he brings an electric guitar and a live drummer on stage alongside the electronics, so you've got the energy of a band and the weight of a club night running at the same time. It's that blend of pop-punk and dance music that defines the whole thing.
