Rising American pop artist Slayyyter performs live at the O2 Academy Glasgow on her WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD tour.
Slayyyter plays the O2 Academy Glasgow on Sunday 1 November, as part of the WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD tour. It's a Glasgow South Side stop for the American pop artist, who's been building a name for herself over the last few years.
She first stepped into the spotlight in 2019 with her self-titled debut mixtape, which racked up over 100 million streams on the back of 'Daddy AF' and 'Mine'. That was followed by her full-length debut, Troubled Paradise, and more recently she supported Tove Lo on the Dirt Femme tour. She's a Missouri native who dropped out of college to pursue music, and that DIY streak still sits close to the surface of what she does.
Her sound is a mix of sharp songcraft, inventive underground production, and cheeky lyrics, all wrapped in eighties-inspired, afterparty-ready fashion. It's the kind of pop that doesn't take itself too seriously but still cares about the hook, and she's built a following of dedicated fans drawn to that underground je ne sais quoi. This tour is the WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD run, so you'll be hearing her latest material alongside the older tracks that put her on the map.
