Sawyer Hill brings his Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy tour to King Tut's Wah Wah Hut on Tuesday 12 January 2027. He's the sole bill on the night, so it's just him and the band taking the stage.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, the numbers might. Hill is from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and spent over a decade playing in Northwest Arkansas, often to audiences of a few dozen. When he was 14, his Pentecostal parents signed an affidavit allowing him into bars as long as he was playing music and not drinking. That long stretch of playing for small rooms is where he cut his teeth, and it's a good bit of context for the way he works.
Things changed in 2022 when 'Look at the Time', a grungy rock hymn, took off. By February 2024 it sat atop Spotify's Viral 50, and not long after it hit the top of the Spotify US Viral Chart. Since then his numbers have ballooned to 50 million streams and 120 million video views, with more than 700,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok. That run culminated in his debut EP, Heartbreak Hysteria, released on 18 April 2025.

If those three names mean anything to you, you've got a pretty clear idea of where he's coming from: the heavy, melodic side of nineties grunge. The Everybody's Home, Nobody's Happy tour is the latest stop on that trajectory.
It's at King Tut's on Tuesday 12 January, with doors opening at 19:30.
