An afternoon of feel-good comedy with Riona O'Connor and Olga Thompson, pairing savagely funny songs, hilarious characters and real-life rage.
Riona OβConnor and Olga Thompson bring their show Middle Rage to The Stand Comedy Club on Sunday 16 May 2027. It's a double bill, with the two of them sharing the stage for an afternoon of comedy that they describe as feel-good catharsis.
They've pitched it as a pairing of savagely funny songs, hilarious characters and real-life rage. The description puts it in a few different camps at once: where comedy meets cholesterol, musical theatre meets menopausal misfits, and stand-up meets vaginal atrophy. It's two women, two shows and, in their own words, 'zero chill'.

The Glasgow date is one stop on a 26-date tour, so it's a good chance to catch it if you're around that Sunday afternoon. The Stand is a proper comedy room, and with two acts on one bill, you're getting a full afternoon's worth of material in one go. If you've got a soft spot for musical comedy or just a particular affinity for the subject matter they're tackling, this is one to keep on the radar. Tickets are available through The Stand and Live Nation.
