UK-based metal collective PRESIDENT headline the O2 Academy Glasgow in support of their debut album Blood Of Your Empire, with support from vianova and Dreamwake.
PRESIDENT play the O2 Academy Glasgow on Thursday 19 November, as part of a UK tour supporting their debut album, Blood Of Your Empire. They're an anonymous UK-based collective, and the Glasgow date is one leg of a sold-out run that also takes in Manchester, Birmingham and London. On the night, they're joined by vianova and Dreamwake, who'll open for them.
Blood Of Your Empire is the record they're touring, and they describe it as sitting at the intersection of heavy music, electronic experimentation and cinematic atmosphere. It's a full-length debut, and they've talked about it as something they've been building to be discovered rather than sold. That's a fair way to frame it, too — the 'cinematic' part suggests a certain scale and mood that's better caught in a room than read about on a screen.

If you're planning to go, it's worth knowing where you stand. General admission is sold out, but there are still tickets for the balconies: PL01 Stalls, PL02 Lower Balcony and PL03 Upper Balcony are all £35.70, which includes fees. VIP packages are also available for the night. Doors open at 19:00, and the curfew is 23:00, so it's a mid-week one that wraps up before midnight. The venue is the O2 Academy Glasgow, 121 Eglinton Street, G59NT.
