Lily Wolter brings her dream-pop solo project My Precious Bunny to McChuills for a night of indie tunes.
My Precious Bunny plays McChuills on Tuesday 24 November, a night presented by DF Concerts. The name is the solo project of Lily Wolter, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is also one half of the dream-pop duo Penelope Isles. Born and raised on the Isle of Man, Wolter has been performing under the name since 2014.
She co-produces her music with childhood friend Allister Kellaway, of Last Living Cannibal, and the sound pulls together a few different threads: warped pop sensibilities, bursts of saxophone, warm analogue synths and restless guitars, all held together by raw choral power. Her debut record, A Moment In My Eyes, came out this May on Bella Union, so the set will draw from that.

McChuills is at 80 High Street in the city centre, a venue the local scene remembers as more than a pub. Over the last few decades it grew into a community hub where live music was taken seriously, bands and musicians were valued and given a platform, and where you didn't have to pay to play. The night runs from 19:00 to 22:30.
