Legendary downtempo duo Morcheeba perform live at the O2 Academy Glasgow with classic tracks and fresh material.
Morcheeba play the O2 Academy Glasgow on Sunday 8 November, their only Glasgow date this autumn. It's a headline show, with the duo as the sole act on the bill.
The set will pull from both ends of their catalogue. They're bringing the classic tracks that first put them on the map, and they'll be working them alongside fresh material from their more recent output. It's a bit of a double-sided night, then: the songs that most people know and the newer stuff they've been writing lately, both played live in the same set.
Morcheeba have always operated as a duo, and that's how they'll be appearing here. The set is built around that pairing, with the older songs and the newer ones sharing the stage. If you've followed them for years, you'll recognise the early material; if you're coming in later, the newer songs will be the ones you've heard most recently. They're playing both, one after the other.
