Drop-in museum-inspired fun and crafts for 3-5 year olds and their carers at Kelvingrove.
Mini Museum Explorers is back at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum on Friday 6 November, one of three sessions running across the autumn. It's a creative drop-in for children aged 3 to 5 and their carers, who are encouraged to come along together for museum-inspired fun and crafts. The sessions are run by Glasgow Museums' Learning team, so they're designed around the kind of things that work for that age group: hands-on, creative, and easy to join in with.
It's part of the museums' wider family programme, which is mostly drop-in and free. That same programme includes holiday activities, weekend 'Discover' sessions, and autism-friendly early openings and workshops across Kelvingrove, Riverside Museum and the Burrell Collection, so if you've got little ones, there's usually something on the go across the city's museums.

This particular run has three dates: Friday 9 October, Friday 6 November and Friday 4 December, with two sessions each dayโone from 11am to 12pm and another from 1pm to 2pm. It's free and drop-in, so you don't need a ticket; you just turn up with your child. You'll find it at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum on Argyle Street, Glasgow G3 8AG.
