Live jazz performance every Thursday from 6-8pm at Atlantic Bar and Brasserie in Glasgow city centre.
Live Jazz is back at Atlantic Bar and Brasserie this Thursday 15 October, part of a run that keeps the music going every Thursday through the autumn. It's not a one-off: the sessions run on 8, 15, 22 and 29 October, and then on 5, 12 and 19 November, so if you can't make this one, there are plenty more to choose from over the next few weeks.
The brasserie is tucked away in the city centre at 12-16 St Vincent Place, just off George Square and trading under the Anchor Line Building. It's a classic French spot, and the house speciality is le Poulet rΓ΄ti, turned on a charcoal-fuelled rotisserie. The room pairs the live jazz with cocktails and brasserie dining, and regulars describe the atmosphere as something out of Paris in 1938. Thursday nights lean into a jam-session feel that brings the spirit of Bourbon Street to the room, alongside weekend lunch and cocktail sessions.

The music runs from 6pm to 8pm, so it's an early one that works as a pre-dinner drink or a proper start to the evening. It's a free event, and with the sessions running every Thursday through mid-November, you've got a good stretch of dates to work with.
