Laura Kuenssberg presents her book 'Pay Attention' and talks about her two decades of reporting on politicians, hosted by Aye Write!, Glasgow's annual book festival.
Laura Kuenssberg is coming to The University of Glasgow on Friday 6 November, as part of the Aye Write! book festival. She'll be talking about her new book, Pay Attention, published by Corsair.
Kuenssberg has spent more than two decades reporting on politicians up close, and the book draws on that time to look at the political landscape as it stands today. She works through a stretch of years that covers the financial crash, Brexit, and the rise of social media, and the evening centres on her own experiences of reporting through it all. If you've followed the news over the last few years, you'll know her voice from Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg on BBC One, the award-winning Newscast podcast, and the BBC's election coverage.
The talk is part of Aye Write!, Glasgow's annual book festival. It started in 2005 and brings writers and speakers from across Britain and beyond to the city, with a programme that runs across fiction, politics, poetry, crime and thriller, memoir, history and music. This is one of the political slots in that mix.
