Stand-up comedy show Floozy by Harriet Kemsley, presented by Plosive Live.
Harriet Kemsley brings her new show Floozy to Òran Mór on Friday 13 November, with the set starting at 19:00. It's presented by Plosive Live in association with United Agents, and the age guidance is 14+.
Floozy is a new hour that follows her appearance on Last One Laughing UK, and it turns on dating, mushrooms, and her best efforts to be a bit of a floozy. Kemsley describes her own life as being in constant chaos, and that's a good place to start with who she is as a comic. She's a multi-award-winning stand-up and a TV regular, and if you recognise her from the screen, you've probably seen her on Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You?, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She also co-hosts the Single Ladies In Your Area podcast.
She's been around the circuit for a while, too. She won Funny's Funny Female Comedian Of The Year in 2011 and was Bath and Brighton New Act of the Year in 2012. The critics have been on her side over the years: The Scotsman called her "extraordinarily talented", The Guardian noted that she "packs in high calibre jokes", The Skinny described the show as a "masterful hour", and EdFest Mag called it "effervescent".
