Austrian post-black metal pioneers Harakiri For The Sky headline with support from Danish atmospheric black metal band SUNKEN.
Harakiri For The Sky play Saint Luke's & The Winged Ox on Monday 23 November, with support from Sunken. The night is presented by Core.
Harakiri For The Sky are an Austrian duo formed in 2011. They've become pioneers of the post-black metal movement, building a worldwide following with III: Trauma and charting at number four in Germany with their latest album, Maere. Their sound blends extreme metal and post-rock, carried by M.S.'s guitar melodies and J.J.'s lyrics.
Joining them is Sunken, a Danish atmospheric black metal band that has been unfolding dark, melancholic and depressive soundscapes on the European scene since 2012. Between the two, the bill covers a good stretch of the heavier, more atmospheric end of the black metal spectrum.
