Good Health Good Wealth perform live at King Tut's as part of The Disco Never Ends UK Tour.
Good Health Good Wealth play King Tut's Wah Wah Hut on Friday 20 November, as part of their The Disco Never Ends UK tour. It's a London duo — vocalist, songwriter and producer Bruce Breakey alongside Lithuanian-born guitarist and producer Simon Kuzmickas — and they're touring their upcoming album, The Disco Never Ends, which is highly anticipated. The Glasgow date is one stop on a run that also hits Birmingham, Manchester, Norwich, London and Leicester, and it follows a sold-out headline show in London.
Their sound is distinctively British and deliberately wide-ranging, fusing spoken-word poetry and everyday storytelling with UK garage, indie rock, dance beats and funk. They draw on a broad set of influences, from N.E.R.D, Daft Punk and Kanye West to The Streets and Mac Miller, so the set pulls from a few different directions at once. The songs turn on modern life — the pursuit of happiness, love, money, sex, stereotypes and the daily grinds of ordinary people — and they've stated their aim is to spread positivity and unity.
