Glasgow traditional music quartet Gnoss, formed by the Orkney duo Graham Rorie and Aidan Moodie, celebrate their 10th anniversary with a headline show at Celtic Connections.
Gnoss are playing the City Halls on Saturday 23 January, as part of Celtic Connections. It's their biggest headline show to date, and it marks ten years since they first got going. They'll be joined by support on the bill, with the night starting at 7:30pm.
The timing works out as a bit of a double celebration. The show comes ahead of their fourth studio album, which is due out in spring 2027, so you'll likely be hearing new material alongside the older songs. Their third record, Stretching Skyward, came out in 2023 and continued to work with acoustic roots and electronic textures, picking up more than two million streams in its first year.
If you haven't followed them for long, the band is a Glasgow-based quartet. It started with the award-winning Orkney duo Graham Rorie and Aidan Moodie, who were later joined by Connor Sinclair from Perthshire and Craig Baxter from Stirling. Over the last decade, they've built a sound rooted in traditional music and contemporary composition, and they've been nominated three times for the BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.

This is their biggest headline show so far, and it's their tenth anniversary.
