Gaelic night with DJs and traditional music sessions at Nice N Sleazy, part of the Royal National Mòd Fringe 2026.
GLUAIS takes over the basement of Nice N Sleazy on Thursday 15 October, a late-night Gaelic club night that runs from 11:30pm until 3am. It's part of the Royal National Mòd Fringe, the wider festival of Gaelic arts, culture and participation that runs across Glasgow from 31 August to 31 October to accompany the Royal National Mòd 2026.
Downstairs, the night brings together a selection of Glasgow's Gaelic DJs playing house, hip-hop, alt-folk and techno. The line-up starts with DJ Iseabail from 11:30pm to 12:30am, followed by MAL b2b Baby Guinness, who take over from 12:30am until 3am. It's a long run, so you've got plenty of room to settle in.
What makes the night work is that it's paired with a regular Trad session of traditional Scottish music upstairs at Sleazys Bar, which is open to anyone who wants to play. If you're more into the session side of things, you can spend your evening there and then head down to the basement when the DJs take over, or vice versa. The two run alongside each other, so you can move between the trad session upstairs and the club night downstairs as the night goes on.
