Two nights of Irish and Celtic music with live acts and compere Phil Agnew, a hoops-themed celebration.
Glasgow's Green And White is taking over The Pavilion Theatre for two nights on the 20th and 21st of March 2027. It's a double bill of Irish and Celtic music, with live acts on stage and Phil Agnew as compere, and the whole thing is a hoops-themed celebration.
If you're not familiar with the venue, The Pavilion Theatre is one of Glasgow's oldest variety theatres, first built as a music hall back in 1904. It's still got its Edwardian-style façade, a grand entrance foyer with a marble staircase and stained-glass windows, and an auditorium with ornate plasterwork and a proscenium-arch stage. It seats around 1,450 and has hosted a long list of names over the years, including Laurel and Hardy, Judy Garland, and Morecambe and Wise.
Across the two nights, the stage will be shared by several live acts, all tied together by Phil Agnew on the mic. The music is Irish and Celtic, and the hoops theme runs through it, so it's as much a celebration of the club as it is a night of music. With two dates to choose from, you can pick whichever night suits you best, or catch both if you're really in the mood.
