Francis Rossi, lead vocalist and guitarist of Status Quo, performs a night of Status Quo classics and his own selections at The Pavilion Theatre.
Francis Rossi plays The Pavilion Theatre on Wednesday 4 November, with the show starting at 7:30pm. He's touring The Francis Rossi Songbook: Quo - Past, Present, Future, a set that draws on his long career as lead vocalist and guitarist for Status Quo as well as his work as a solo performer.
The setlist is built around a hand-picked selection of Status Quo classics, mixed with some deeper cuts and a new medley. Alongside those, he brings in his own choices and interpretations from his wider catalogue, and he talks through the songs with commentary and insight from the man himself. It's a good way to hear the Quo songs you know, the ones you might have missed, and the solo stuff in one go, with Rossi filling in the gaps between them.
Rossi is one of Britain's most loved and influential musicians, and while he's shed his trademark ponytail, his presence and musicianship remain. The show runs for around an hour, and under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
