Fontaines D.C. perform live at the OVO Hydro as part of their D.C. UK Tour 2026, with support from Chalk.
Fontaines D.C. play the OVO Hydro on Sunday 22 November, part of their UK tour that runs from 20 to 27 November. The Irish band is touring their latest album, which they describe as one of shifting moods, startling insight, maturity and considerable emotional wallop. It's a record that sits alongside their reputation for constant evolution, and this Glasgow date is one of the few stops on a run that's already listed as sold out.
They're not coming alone, either. Chalk is the support act for the night, so there's a full bill to get through before the main set. The tour itself is a short, concentrated run across the UK, with the Glasgow show falling towards the end of that window. If you've been following them for a while, you'll know they've been moving through different sounds and territories since they first emerged, and this latest album is the newest version of that.
There's a bit of a trophy to go with the new material, too: they took home the award for Best Band In The World at the BandLab NME Awards. It's a high bar to live up to, and this tour is where they'll be playing the new songs out in the open. Between the support from Chalk and the main set, it's a proper night of music rather than just a quick run-through.
