A night of dancing, a three-course sit-down dinner, and fantasy-themed entertainment presented by Fantasy Bookclub Scotland.
Fantasy Bookclub Scotland are taking over Oran Mor on Friday 13 November for The Frost Moon Ball, a full evening of dancing and fantasy-romance dreams. The club was started by Becca and Amy as a way to bring people together over Scottish fantasy, folklore and magic, and while their usual events are for the bookclub community, this one is open to everyone.
It's a long night that starts with a three-course sit-down dinner, with your menu chosen when you book. Before that, there's entertainment inspired by fantasy and folklore to set the mood, and then the dancing takes over, along with fantasy photo opportunities throughout the room. The dress code is Fantasy Formal, and they're encouraging gowns, dresses, suits, kilts, armour, capes, wings, fangs and fae ears. You can turn up as a Highland warrior, a forest witch, a dark queen or a creature of the night, and then either waltz dramatically or dance terribly. Becca and Amy have also promised a few special surprises kept hidden in the 'FBS vault' to be revealed during the evening.
