Family printmaking workshops over the October holiday for disabled children and young people aged 8-20, their families and unpaid carers.
Project Ability are running family printmaking workshops over the October holiday, from Tuesday 13 to Friday 16 October, at their centre in Trongate 103. They're open to disabled children and young people aged 8-20, along with their families and unpaid carers, so it's a session you can work through together rather than one you just drop your kid off at.
There are two slots each day — 10am to 12noon and 1pm to 3pm — and they run across all four days, so you can pick the one that fits your schedule best. The workshops are free, though spaces are limited, so it's worth booking early if you're planning to go.
Project Ability is a visual arts organisation that creates opportunities for people with disabilities and people with mental health issues to express themselves and achieve artistic excellence. More than three hundred people take part each week in their year-round programme of workshops, events and exhibitions, held at Trongate 103 and in community venues across the city. They work in partnership with disabled people and their support agencies from across the UK to develop local and national arts projects, and to help artists network, share their practice and exhibit their work.

The venue itself, Trongate 103, is a centre for arts and creativity in Glasgow's Merchant City, and these workshops are part of that wider activity. You'll find them on the 3rd floor at Trongate 103, Glasgow, G1 5HD. Sessions run 10am-12noon and 1pm-3pm from Tuesday 13 to Friday 16 October; they're free, but spaces are limited, so book early.
