Nashville's rising star Drake Milligan brings his Tumbleweed World Tour to the O2 Academy Glasgow.
Drake Milligan brings his Tumbleweed World Tour to the O2 Academy Glasgow on Sunday 22 November, with doors opening at 19:00 and a curfew of 23:00. He's an American singer and songwriter who describes himself as a country traditionalist with an old-school flair and rock n' roll roots, and this is the Glasgow stop of the tour he set out on in 2025.
The tour is built around his second album, Tumbleweed, and that's what he'll be playing from. He first made his mark with the critically acclaimed Dallas/Fort Worth and the Jukebox Songs EP, so the set should pull from those alongside the newer material. If you've followed him from the start, you'll hear the early stuff alongside the songs from Tumbleweed.
Beyond the music, Milligan is well known for his acting. He played Elvis Presley in the CMT series Sun Records and took on a teenage Elvis in the film Nobody. He's also appeared on American Idol and America's Got Talent, so he's as comfortable in front of a camera as he is on a stage. Between the records and the screen, he's built a career around that old-school country sound.
