Afternoon clubbing experience with retro disco and dance music in Glasgow city centre, a grown-ups' day out.
Disco Days Vs Dance Days is back at Club Tropicana & Venga on Saturday 26 September, starting at 15:30. It's an afternoon clubbing session in Glasgow city centre, built around retro disco and dance music, and it runs as a proper day-out rather than a late one.
The whole point is to get the clubbing experience in during the day. You've got the dancefloor, the singing, and the retro tracks, but it all happens while it's still light outside. The organisers pitch it as a grown-ups' day out, with the singing and dancing on the floor as the main event, and everyone getting home at a reasonable hour. They're also clear about the crowd: no weans allowed.
It's held at Club Tropicana & Venga, 7 Renfield Street, G2 5EZ, right in the city centre. The music stays in the retro disco and dance camp, so it's the kind of thing that works as well for a group of friends as it does for a solo trip. If you're into the disco side of things, you'll find your footing there; if you're more about the dance floor, that's covered too.

It kicks off at 15:30 on Saturday 26 September, so you're in and out while the sun's still up. If you've been wanting a clubbing afternoon without the late-night fallout, this is exactly that: retro disco and dance in the heart of the city, starting mid-afternoon and finishing early enough to still have your evening.
