Del Amitri celebrate 40 years of hits with their Past To Present UK tour at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
Del Amitri are back at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 6 December, part of their Past To Present UK tour. It's a homecoming of sorts: they're one of Scotland's favourite bands, and this date brings them back to Glasgow to mark four decades of songwriting, touring and the hits that have kept them in the public ear all that time.
The Past To Present title does the work for you here. The set is built around that forty-year span, so you'll hear the songs from the early days alongside the later material, rather than the show leaning too heavily on one era. It's a look back across their whole run, and since they've spent those four decades on the road, the live side of things is where the band is most at home.
Regular Music is presenting the show. The bill is straightforward: it's Del Amitri on their own, with the set drawn from the songs they've written and played over the last forty years. If you've followed them from the start, there'll be the early stuff you remember; if you came to them later, the more recent songs will be there too. The two sit side by side rather than one taking over.

It's a Sunday night, so it's a bit of a different slot than the usual Friday or Saturday gig. The show starts at 7:00pm at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in the city centre, G2 3NY. Tickets are £55.82, which includes the booking fee and a contribution to the restoration fund.
