David Vunk, the main man behind Moustache Records, performs live at McChuills Bar.
David Vunk is playing McChuills Music Bar & Venue on Sunday 27 December, his first Glasgow date in a while. He's the main man behind Moustache Records, the label he runs and releases on, and he'll be taking the full night himself.
He's billed as the 'true beast of the harbour city of Rotterdam', and Moustache Records is described as 'ever-playful' — a label where he puts out his own tracks alongside a wide range of West-Coast honchos and synth freaks. He's been rocking records across Europe since the early 90s, and his reputation rests as much on the depth of his collection as on his skills behind the decks. Like many Dutch artists, his approach is no-frills and hype-free, built on his own character: he prioritises dance floor impact and connecting with his dancers over any one particular genre.

It's a late-December date, so if you're around the city between Christmas and New Year, it's one to keep in mind. The night runs from 20:00 on Sunday 27 December and goes through to 01:00 on Monday 28 December, so there's plenty of room to settle in. McChuills is in Glasgow City Centre, and all events at the venue are 18+.
