Colours presents GBX Day Party

Colours are taking over SWG3 for a GBX Day Party on Saturday 7 November, and they're using the full complex for it. It's a day party in the truest sense: it kicks off at 14:00 and runs straight through until 22:00, so you're in and out while it's still light, with the whole venue working as one big room rather than a few separate stages. If you've spent any time at SWG3, you know the scale of the place, and having the full complex dedicated to a single party changes the feel of it.

George Bowie headlines the bill, and he's joined by a proper line-up of names. DJ Sash is on, as are Ultrabeat — Chris Henry on this one — Mark Sherry and David Forbes. That's just the top of the list, though; there are 25 DJs in total across the day, so the music doesn't stop and the energy keeps shifting as the afternoon turns into evening. It's a long stretch of a party, and with that many names on the bill, there's plenty to work your way through.

Because it's a day party, the timing is the main thing to keep in mind. It runs from 14:00 to 22:00, so you're getting the bulk of the action in during the day and early evening, and you're clear by ten. Tickets start at £25 and go up to £40, depending on when you get them. It's at SWG3 Full Complex, 100 Eastvale Place, Glasgow G3 8QG.
